This Wi-Fi kiosk only works when air pollution is low

Amsterdam is a city that takes many steps to fight against pollution. It is known: the city is designed to encourage citizens to use their bike instead of their car. And this initiative should also please lovers of the environment. Joris Lam is a genius inventor who designed "Tree Wifi", a small Wi-Fi hotspot that only works when pollution is low.

This post is housed in a small birdhouse hung on a tree. If pollution is far too present, Wi-Fi simply does not work. An online interface also allows you to consult the air quality in real time. A beautiful invention that should motivate the inhabitants of the Dutch capital to pollute even less.
