A 100% football jersey made with plastic waste from the ocean

When we talk about pollution, we first think of the oceans that are degraded every day by plastic bags. This type of pollution has become a major problem, causing the death of underwater animal and plant species. Adidas came up with the idea of working with the Parley for the Oceans association to develop football jerseys made from 100% plastic waste collected in the Indian Ocean.

This jersey that features the mention "For the Oceans" will be worn by players from Bayern Munich and Real Madrid. An excellent initiative that reminds us that sport, and more specifically football, must be an ambassador for good causes in order to preserve our planet.
